Oro y Joias is the creation of Christel Orellana, owner and lead designer for the entire collection. Originally from Honduras, Christel has always believed people make connections to the jewelry and accessories they wear, and today her company based in South Florida offers others a way to make those connections for themselves
For some, it is a memory of a shared moment or a special someone. For others, it is a way to express a feeling or celebrate an occasion. “There’s something amazing that comes over someone when they wear a piece of jewelry they love,” she says. “I love it when a piece becomes a part of who someone is.”
